Of Fanjoy, country sensation Keith Urban has said, “She brings such a great vibe into her work, organic yet stylish.  Trey has a wonderful spirituality about her and she has a great eye for detail.  She truly loves art and the weirdos who make it and we love her for it.”

Fanjoy has worked with numerous film studios on soundtrack tie-ins. Among the films she’s been involved with are:  Paramount Studios’ How To Lose A Guy in Ten Days starring Matthew McConaughey and Kate Hudson,
Walt Disney Pictures’ The Rookie with Dennis Quaid and the Jennifer Lopez thriller Angel Eyes.

Fanjoy has a passion and history in the theatre.  She studied under acclaimed theatre legend, Sanford Meisner, who founded New York’s prestigious Neighborhood Playhouse.  The Neighborhood Playhouse has been the home to many of the country’s most respected actors including Robert Duvall, Steven McQueen and filmmaker Sydney Pollack. Fanjoy spent a summer on the island of Bequia under Meisner’s master tutelage.  After receiving a scholarship, she continued to study with him back in the States for several years.  It’s this background and sensitivity to artists and actors that Fanjoy brings to every aspect of her work.

With a background and interest in documentary filmmaking, she wrote and produced Riding The Rails, with legendary West Texas singer/songwriter Joe Ely, which featured Bruce Springsteen.  Last year, she wrote, produced and directed a documentary for the Frist Center for the Visuals Arts on legendary rodeo tailor, Manuel, which was narrated by Linda Rondstadt. She is set to direct the full-length documentary, funded by the Country Music Hall of Fame, on the musically influential Border Radio movement.

With over a decade of directorial and filmmaking experience, Fanjoy opened the doors to Big Feather Films with executive producer, Wendi Friedman. Friedman most recently brings eight years of experience in the music video division of Universal Records in Los Angeles, where she guided the video projects for artists such as Nelly, Christina Aguilera, Akon, Stevie Wonder and Lindsey Lohan.

She currently serves on the NARAS (National Academy of Recording Arts and Sciences) Board of Governors and has chaired its Grammy In The Schools programs as well as donated her time and efforts to Music Cares, a non-profit program, which provides financial assistance to members of the music community.  Other charities include St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital and the American Red Cross.
